Club Member of the Year! – Cathleen Tyson

District 10 Governor, Keith Powell, joined us at our April 11th club meeting to announce Cathleen Tyson had been awarded District 10’s Club Member of the Year! Last Fall, Cathleen led a committee (i.e. pretty much the entire active membership of AAF-Amarillo) to host the 2017 Street Volkswagen AAF Central Region Conference.

Cathleen – AAF-Amarillo is grateful for your time and commitment to our club! Congratulations on this well deserved honor.

Small Club of the Year!

AAF-Amarillo received AAF District 10’s Small Club of the year beating out 16 other same size clubs throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and part of Louisiana! Throughout the year, clubs earn points by their philanthropic efforts and participating at the district level by hosting America Advertising Awards, submitting club achievement books, donating to the Advertising Education Scholarship Foundation, attending conferences, etc.

Thank you to all AAF-Amarillo club members! It is because of your support that we were able to achieve this award.

Yellow City AAF Central Region Conference Excelled!

We brought the Texas Panhandle Hospitality to the AAF Central Region Conference 2017! Those who attended have given great reviews on the high level of speakers, excellent food, and fun after hours off-site venues. We even had our guest celebrity speaker, Brett Cullen, join us at the Denim and Diamonds Closing Reception! Excellent swag bags with goodies, more liquor than you could possibly drink, and a variety of food and snacks – all day long.

Thank you to all our excellent speakers! Jim Datri, Scott Cone, Maria Hale, Brett Cullen, Jackie Dryden, Street Volkswagen Team – John Luciano, Chris Villegas, David Meraz; Lisa Blake, Carla Michelotti, Clark Rector, Keith Powell, Roger Lindley, Carl Mullins, Beth Duke, Kevin Ball, Clay Stribling, Kevin Berman, John Newall, Jim Malcolm, Marissa Deslatte, Walter Barraza, Lalo Duran.

AAF Amarillo extends a real Big thank you to Quantcast/Real Time Academy for bringing their training sessions on Advertising to the conference. We hope other clubs take advantage of what they can offer in your area.  http://rtaacademy.com
